Who am I?
3 day mirror study intensive with Tyler Bingham

I am in my 4th year of painting a mirror study every month starting in 2022. A project I only intended to last a year has become one of my most powerful learning tools. I’m excited and ready to share what I have learned.

In this class you will learn my approach in:
Learning by doing,
Mark making and layer building techniques,
Basic color theory and world building, making and Breaking rules,
Rendering and proportion,
Painting with “no mistakes”, and
Testing new mediums in a controlled setting

You’ll be provided everything you need to create your 9x12 mixed media mirror study. You'll mostly be using acrylic paint and colored pencils that I will provide.

Feel free to bring anything else you’d like to work with knowing that I will be teaching you with tools that I’m most familiar with

Live demos, one on one feedback, and independent work time in a group setting
